Cookies & statistics

We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party services such as Google Analytics or Meta. Without your consent we only use the strictly necessary storage listed below. Anonymous statistics without cookies only run if you choose “Allow statistics”.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

“bw_session” – cookie, only when you sign in: keeps you signed in to your account. Lasts 30 days or until you sign out; HTTPS only, not readable by scripts.

“locale” – cookie: remembers the language you chose yourself. Lasts 1 year.

“badwasch.quote.v1” – local storage: the contents of your cart. Kept until you empty the cart or clear your browser data.

“badwasch.wishlist.v1” – local storage: your wishlist. Kept until you empty it or clear your browser data.

“badwasch.checkout.v1” – session storage: which items are being paid for, so they are removed from the cart after payment. Deleted when you close the tab.

“badwasch.consent.v1” – local storage: your choice in the privacy notice, so we do not ask again. Kept until you change it or clear your browser data.

Legal basis: Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 122 Italian Privacy Code), Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

With your consent your browser sends our own server, on each page view, the page, the referring website or campaign and your language, and likewise the contents of your cart. Nothing is stored on your device. Our server derives device type, country and city from the request; IP address and browser identifier are not stored, and visitors are counted with an irreversible identifier that changes every day.

Retention: page views at most 400 days, carts at most 30 days. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). More details in the privacy policy, section 3.

To pay, we send you to Stripe’s payment page (checkout.stripe.com). There Stripe, as an independent controller, sets its own cookies needed for payment and fraud prevention; Stripe’s cookie and privacy notices apply (stripe.com/legal/cookies-policy).

You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Afterwards your cart and wishlist will be empty, you will need to sign in again and we will ask for your privacy choice again.
