Double vanity: from what width, and how to plan it
How much space two basins need, distance between them, drains and alternatives for narrower bathrooms.

1. Minimum width
Allow at least 60 cm per person: from 120 cm a double vanity is possible, from 140 cm comfortable, and from 160 cm you also get worktop.
2. Drains and connections
Two basins need two drains or a shared connection. Note where the existing connections are: we plan the composition so the basins land in the right place.
3. If there is not enough room
Below 120 cm, one wide basin with plenty of drawers is often more comfortable than two narrow ones. We send you both options in 3D to compare.
